Wadaiko Master

Thanks to Milton for the email with the video and pictures  and the guys at Taiko no Tatsujin Malaysia (Facebook) for the first information!

Taiko Momoiro was released, on early 2014, to several different countries in Asia...but might it have spread even further than most people initially thought?
That's definitely Taiko no Tatsujin Momoiro in the picture, but it looks different from any other Taiko Momoiro we've seen so far. Japanese builds have their banners in Japanese, Asian builds have banners in English but a user interface that's in Japanese, while this variant, Wadaiko Master, has its banners and the entire game in Brazilian Portuguese!

These pictures are from an arcade in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

It even has an exclusive genre of Brazilian pop songs (two in it), which are presumably the first two song titles shown on this left banner.

Sadly, copyright issues extend even further for Wadaiko Master, which only has about 30 or so songs compared to Japan's 399 songs and Asia's 291 songs. According to Milton, some of the songs include Kagekiyo, Saitama 2000, Angel Dream, Venomous, Taiko Time, No Way Back, Soul Calibur II and Ridge Racer. The banner mentions Samba Alegria too, one of Sampling Masters AYA's Namco Originals.

It's also offline (no Banapassport card reader in the center).

Still looks weird and fishy? There's a low-framerate video of it in action! Check it out!
